Selling - Advertising

If you want to sell your bike, no problem! We are a very cost competitive service to anyone that wishes to sell their bike upon the SELLING a BIKE website. You need to register first to be able to start listing your bikes. The service attracts a minimal operation fee to private individuals and dealers. You may advertise as many bikes as you wish (as long as you adhere to our Terms and Conditions) Although our costs are the most attractive available, you can save more by choosing one of our multi Ad packages.

Please be sure to keep your images at 300px X 300px. Any larger will result in poor quality thumbnail images.

Just complete the registration form, then after being directed to an "Activation Success" screen you may then login to your account immediately. This will enable you to use our registered user features so you can start selling your bike/s. A note about the registration form: Not all fields are mandatory, but if you do fill in your name, this will not be shown publicly. Only your telephone details are shown if you have filled in these details. If you hide your email address don't worry, our internal messaging system will send you an email from any interested buyers. We wish to protect your privacy!

You may use up to 10 photographs for each listing plus upload a video (no more than 5Mb's in size for video). Once you are happy with your bike listing you will then need to "Add" it to our system by making a small one time payment so it can be live and available to view.  You may edit your listing at anytime and also "Deactivate" it to make changes. You can also "Delete" your listing once it has been sold.

Payment: Payment/s will be received by using credit card via our PayPal gateway, (or) by using your own PayPal account. (PayPal gateway being the most trustworthy and secure payment method available, we can guarantee 100%, that all transactions committed through the PAYPAL gateway, will be a totally safe and secure method of payment.)

Buying - Searching

If you are searching for your next bike, you are FREE to use our website to locate your new bike. When using the search facilities you only have to use your postcode if so desired in order to direct your search, for example: 3121 or 4567 or 2000 - this is to save you time by allowing you to search for a new bike within a suitable distance to your travel requirement. You may omit using a postcode completely, but you will be unable to search or shop by selective distance.

If you wish to shortlist your bikes you can use the Bike Ad Clipboard and return to it and review your shortlist! If you register as a member, which is FREE, you can take advantage of not only the clipboard facility but you can save your searches under whatever heading you wish to name it. Once new listings are added that match your search criteria our system will notify you. This will send an email to your registered account with Selling a Bike. Simple!
